Cadastre creation
within the framework of the AwSV

The abbreviation ‘AwSV’ stands for the ‘Ordinance on Installations Handling Substances Hazardous to Water’. This ordinance regulates the handling of substances that can endanger bodies of water, whether through direct discharge or indirect risks such as accidents or leaks. The AwSV is of particular importance in Germany as it precisely defines the requirements for handling such substances in plants and facilities. The aim is to prevent or at least minimise environmental damage.

An important aspect in connection with the AwSV is the creation of cadastres. A cadastre is a systematic compilation of information on specific circumstances. In the case of the AwSV, these are registers for facilities that handle substances hazardous to water. These registers contain, among other things, information on locations, types and quantities of substances as well as safety precautions and emergency plans.

The creation and maintenance of such registers is required by law and serves to provide an overview of potential sources of danger in order to be able to react appropriately in the event of an emergency. Regular updates and reviews of the registers allow risks to be identified at an early stage and measures to minimise risks to be introduced. This ultimately helps to protect the environment and public health.

We create your customised cadastre in accordance with
AwSV and carry out regular updates and inspections.
